1. About Roster

Roster is a shift tracking and earnings management app developed by Anits ("we", "us", "our"), based in India. Roster helps workers log shifts, calculate earnings including penalty rates, and track payment status across multiple jobs.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Roster.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One person may not share an account — each user needs their own account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Free trial and subscription

Roster offers a 14-day free trial upon account creation. No payment is required to start the trial.

After the trial period, continued access requires a Roster Pro subscription:

• Monthly plan — billed monthly, cancel anytime.
• Yearly plan — billed annually, cancel anytime before renewal.

Subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. Payment is charged to your Google Play account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Store → Subscriptions.

We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, but this does not affect your statutory rights.

One trial per user: The free trial is available once per person. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free trials is a violation of these terms. We use privacy-safe technical measures (described in our Privacy Policy) to enforce this.

4. Your data

You own your data. The shift records, job details, and earnings information you enter into Roster belong to you. We store this data securely on your behalf to provide the service.

You can export your data as a CSV file at any time from within the app. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Roster for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
• Create multiple accounts to obtain additional free trials.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the service.
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content through the app.

7. Accuracy of earnings calculations

Roster calculates earnings based on the pay rates, penalty rates, and conditions you configure. While we strive for accuracy, Roster is not a payroll system and should not be used as the sole basis for financial or tax decisions. Always verify your earnings against your official payslips.

Pay rate rules vary by industry, award, enterprise agreement, and jurisdiction. You are responsible for configuring accurate pay rates in your job settings. We are not liable for any discrepancy between Roster's calculations and your actual pay.

8. Public holiday data

Public holiday data is sourced from a third-party API and may not be complete or accurate for all regions. Always verify public holidays with your employer or relevant government source.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep Roster available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Offline functionality is available — your shifts are stored locally on your device and remain accessible without an internet connection.

10. Intellectual property

Roster, its design, code, and branding are owned by Anits and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over the shift records and personal information you enter.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anits shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Roster. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of Roster after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
